Chris's Background
Originally from England, Chris started work in the photography business as a commercial and portrait photographer’s assistant. Certain that he had found his niche, Chris went on to study photojournalism for two years in the UK, where he trained in conventional film and darkroom techniques. He later became a skilled user of the latest digital technology.

A Career in Editorial Photography
Chris’s career began as an editorial photographer with regional newspapers in the UK. After working his way up the ranks of the regional papers, he took a job as a photojournalist at the Daily Mail, one of the UK’s three best-selling national newspapers, where he covered news and features throughout the UK and Europe for five years.

Becoming a Freelance photographer
More recently, lured by some of the word’s most stunning scenery, Chris moved to New Zealand to start his own freelance photography business, specialising in eye-catching and dynamic editorial, commercial, and corporate photography catering for organisations of all sizes, from SMEs to global corporations.

His editorial photography has been published in a huge range of top-selling publications around the world, including several of the UK’s top national newspapers such as The Times and The Telegraph, Hello and People magazines, National Geographic, and L’Equipe magazine in France.
